Femme Nue Cab Mac

Label: Femme Nue – Cab Mac Negroamaro 2022 
 
Vineyard: Box Grove Vineyard, Nagambie Lakes. Vineyard planted in 1995, the region is renowned for longer and warmer ripening periods during autumn compared to other cool climate regions which presents ideal conditions to ripen Negroamaro.
 
Grape Variety: 100% Negroamaro
 
Soil Composition: Sandy soils with clay loams.
 
Training System: Vertical Shoot Position (VSP)
 
Winemaking: 100% Carbonic Maceration process used in a sealed tank for just over three weeks, followed by gentle pressing straight to barrel.
 
Maturation: In both 500 and 300 Litre seasoned French Oak Barrels for a period of 10 months, followed by bottle aging of 9 months prior to release.
 
Tasting Notes: Lifted aromas of bubblegum, cinnamon and vanilla. Finishes dry on the pallet with some stalky tannins. Drink at room temperature or chill it down for summer.
